Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Surgical Units is needed in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The role involves caring for post-operative patients, particularly after vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 22, 2026, with shifts rotating between nights and day/night options.

Job Details:

• Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating nights and day/night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; surgical experience caring for post-surgical patients including chest tubes, tubes, drips (such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone), lines/tubes/drains, tracheostomies, laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, central lines care and maintenance, blood draws; minimum zero years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma level experience; teaching hospital experience; proficiency with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech electronic medical record systems
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, and sepsis. The unit shares patient care with a Progressive Care Unit and has patient ratios of 4:1 on days and 5:1 on nights. Float may be required within scope of practice. On-call duties are included.
