The posted compensation range of $29.51 - $43.89 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide expert nutrition care, developing and implementing individualized plans to improve patient health outcomes. Every day you will clearly communicate nutritional data across all systems and participate in health team meetings as the resident nutrition expert. To be successful in this role, you will integrate robust clinical expertise with empathetic, evidence-based care, consistently adhering to professional standards and fostering effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
- Completes patient nutritional assessment and establishes plan of care for patient's nutritional requirements; utilizes assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
- Documents assessment, plan, actions and patient's progress.
- Develops, reviews, updates and implements educational materials to meet the needs of patients and clinical professionals. Serves as an expert resource and collaborates with the multi-disciplinary medical team on any nutrition related matters.
- Conducts group nutrition education sessions and workshops for clients and the community.
- Stays updated on the latest research and best practices in HIV/AIDS nutrition and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Required
- Bachelors Other Nutrition or related field and minimum of one (1) year experience in clinical nutrition
- Registered Dietician
- Dietitian: Nevada
Preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS and its impact on nutritional status
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
