Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees definition, design, simulation, verification and documentation for high precision, low power analog & mixed signal CMOS integrated circuits from general instructions.

Circuit Design Projects may include working with the analog and logic sections of the following: amplifiers, Variable Gain Amplifiers, Operational Transconductance Amplifiers, Class AB Power Amplifiers, sigma delta D/A converters for Audio, sigma delta A/D converters for Audio, class D Audio amplifiers,, low noise switched capacitor or OTA-filters, voltage & current references, PLL, VCO, charge pump & DC-DC converters

Datasheet specification study & comparison

Mask layout supervision

Design & tape-out reviews

Product or test chip debug, testing and verification

Interface with and support of the following groups; applications, process technology, CAD, test, reliability, marketing & product engineering.

PREFERRED EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

MSEE degree with 10+ years of Analog/Mixed-Signal design experience.

Must have good communication skills and be capable of finishing projects based on general instructions.

Familiar with mixed signal design CAD tools, including Spectre (S), Verilog, Matlab, Cadence Analog Artist/Composer, Cadence Virtuoso, Synthesis & Place & Route tools.
