Location: Greenwich, CT Compensation: $100,000 to $115,000 +BonusKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and supervise compliance related to Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) reporting requirements. Review regulatory reporting data to identify exceptions, discrepancies, and reporting errors. Investigate root causes and coordinate remediation efforts to ensure reporting accuracy. Research regulations and reporting requirements to ensure ongoing compliance. Assist with regulatory examinations, inquiries, and information requests. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and compliance risks. Conduct investigative reviews and develop evidence-based conclusions regarding reporting issues. Create and enhance surveillance reporting for regulatory and operational data. Assess reporting quality and recommend improvements to reporting controls. Utilize UNIX command-line tools to review and correct records when necessary. Support automation initiatives, including enhancements to CAT feedback processes. Collaborate with software development teams to address reporting errors and system exceptions. Develop process improvements and implement additional controls over regulatory reporting activities. Contribute to ongoing system enhancements and operational efficiencies. Work closely with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Management teams. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Partner with internal teams to strengthen reporting accuracy and regulatory readiness.Experience:1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Compliance Analyst, or similar analytical role. Experience working with large datasets and conducting detailed investigations. Financial services industry experience preferred but not required. Experience researching and resolving reporting or transactional issues is highly desirable. Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Experience using SQL for querying and analyzing data. Programming experience with Python, Perl, Go, or similar languages is highly desirable. Ability to work with and analyze complex datasets. Ability to interpret regulations and apply requirements to business processes. Experience researching rules, exceptions, and compliance issues. Familiarity with transaction reporting environments is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong investigative mindset and attention to detail. Ability to explain complex issues clearly and persuasively. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
