Medicaid Enrollment Specialist

Providing Medicaid enrollment support and financial assistance services, the full-time Financial Assistance Specialist will assist community-based individuals with the enrollment process while working remotely. Key responsibilities Screen and assist with all steps of the Medicaid and Charity Care enrollment process Gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into applications Collaborate with on-site leadership and financial counselors to ensure timely submission of applications based on program guidelines Required qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Previous enrollment experience in the medical field preferred Knowledge of health insurance guidelines Ability to work independently in a remote call center environment Proficient in typing and effective communication in English; bilingual is a plus
