Backend DeveloperRequired Skills & Experience: 5+ years of software development experience Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems AWS expertise including EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of backend performance, workflow orchestration, logistics, or dispatching applications Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing Familiarity with Angular (not a primary focus) Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Power BI and Dynatrace experience Logistics, routing, dispatching, or operational command-and-control systems Fast-paced Agile development environmentsNote: This is a backend-heavy role. We are not seeking a front-end specialist; the primary focus is service orchestration, API development, system integration, and performance optimization.Job Description: Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting mission orchestration, dispatching, and workflow management. Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with external and internal systems. Develop event-driven and asynchronous processing capabilities to support real-time operational decision-making. Implement orchestration logic for validating requests, assessing readiness, assigning resources, and managing mission execution workflows. Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, resiliency, and maintainability. Design and implement data models using relational and NoSQL databases. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions. Create automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. Develop operational monitoring and reporting capabilities leveraging tools such as Power BI, Dynatrace, and AWS observability services. Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and code reviews. Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
