Attorney Position

Seeking an Attorney to manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

A preeminent Upstate New York law firm is seeking an attorney to join its established Litigation Practice Group in its Syracuse office. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general litigation areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation;
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents;
• Communicating effectively with clients, counsel, and other personnel;
• Participating in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings;
• Maintaining case files and managing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school;
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligible for admission);
• Litigation experience preferred, but not required;
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Commitment to professional development and client service.

Compensation: Salary range: $100,000-$130,000 annually, plus bonus potential tied to performance metrics. Final compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience and qualifications.
