Reporting to the Principal and collaborating with a diverse School Leadership Team, you will support high academic standards while addressing students’ social–emotional needs. Who You Are Skilled in current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, including interactive, hands‑on, creative learning Use of technology to support instruction in all areas Use of assessment to drive instruction Differentiation of curriculum to meet diverse learners’ needs Knowledge of co‑teaching and ELL strategies Strategic, solutions‑focused thinker with strong communication and planning skills Relationship builder who values student effort and fosters academic and non‑instructional growth Familiar with restorative practices, anti‑racism education, culturally responsive pedagogy, and trauma‑informed practices Self‑reflective and receptive to feedback to improve instruction Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant content area Current holder of a valid New York State Teaching Certification or willing to enroll and obtain it within two years What Can You Expect From Us At S2, we care deeply for staff.
