Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18/ hour*
What you'll be doing as a Carpentry Helper: - Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
- Employ hand tools such as squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools like sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines
- Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy
- Use a tape measure on nearly every project to reduce waste and ensure that cut pieces are the correct size
Available Shifts: Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job Requirements: - Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- 2-5 years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read blueprints
- Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds to load and unload wood and other materials, as well as transport tools and materials to and from the jobsite
