Mechanical Engineer 1

Position Responsibilities Develop and review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications Participate in activities concerning product development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products for relevant industries (such as Automotive, Medical Device, Power Distribution, Sensor) Design and implement mechanical products using various CAD and CAE tools Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases Be guided by and provide support to more experienced engineers Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products Participate in product team environments related to mechanical & electrical product design Interact with sales personnel and travel to customers and vendors as required Other related duties as assigned Qualifications BSME or BS Bio Mechanical engineering degree from a four‑year college or university 1–2+ years of related experience Self‑learning, task‑oriented, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge and proficiency with components in electrical transfer CAD or equivalent program knowledge, 3D preferred Ability to travel Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
