Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
• On-call requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days monthly (subject to departmental needs)
• Potential to float to other nearby facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care with the healthcare team
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families
• Use sound nursing judgment to recognize and communicate changes in patient condition
• Foster a collaborative and healthy workplace environment through professional communication
• Meet all core measure responsibilities for patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven experience in an OR setting, with a strong background in orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures preferred
• Willingness to float between units or facilities as needed
• Demonstrated ability to participate in on-call rotations and respond effectively
