Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in Spine and Total Joint procedures, requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior spine/joint OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Spine and Total Joint / Hip Preservation Center of a hospital OR unit
• Unit operates 3 ORs for Spine and Joint and additional rooms for the International Hip Preservation Center
• Staff 8-11 rooms daily Monday through Friday
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekends are call-only
• Night call coverage from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday with no overnight shift required
• 30-minute response time required for on-call
• Performs spine fusions, ALIFs, and total joint replacement procedures
• Uses Meditech / CPN EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital OR experience required
• Spine and Joint OR experience required
• Joint scrub experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for spine and total joint surgical patients
• Collaborate closely with charge RN, unit secretary, and surgical team members
• Must be flexible and demonstrate strong communication with staff and providers
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• First-time travelers may be considered based on experience level
