Job Summary:
The Denver, Colorado location is seeking experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurses for seasonal travel assignments. This role involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their active licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department
• Shift: Nights, 7 PM 7 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience; valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or American Womens Heart and Obstetric Nurses (AWHONN) certifications; and experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech EMR, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or operating room (OR) experience is considered a plus.
• Additional Information: The unit features 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms. Staff includes 22 registered nurses during day shifts and 20 during night shifts, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1. The unit utilizes Centricity and GE monitors. Key procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage (D&C), hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and versions, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working independently and supporting team members.
