Job Description
The Department of Neurology at Albany Med Health System is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to lead and expand its Neuroimmunology Division. The successful candidate will have completed a residency in Neurology and have certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. A fellowship in Neuro-immunology is required.

• Epilepsy
• Dementia
• Movement disorders
• Neuromuscular disease
• Pediatric neurology
• Pain management
• Stroke and neurocritical care
Position Highlights:
• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
• Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient clinical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in call coverage as assigned.
• Document patient encounters in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and billing requirements.
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, and medical students, as applicable.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and applicable regulations.
• Engage in teaching, research, and scholarly activities, as applicable.
• Support the growth and development of the department and service line.
