Headquartered in Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations across North America.Job DescriptionThis position is a general maintenance position for upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry tasks.Primary Responsibilities:Perform tasks for the upkeep of the buildings and the groundsPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machineryPerform oil changes and fluid level checks on all forklifts and machineryUse carpentry, plumbing and electrical for minor repairsPerform preventive maintenance of pumps and motorsPerform basic welding tasks, ie. mig and stick weldingMaintain a clean and pristine work area at all timesPerform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by managementServe as liaison with vendors for facility repairsPurchase equipment/supplies for facility related repairsQualificationsBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) requiredTwo or more years of maintenance experiencePreferred Qualifications:General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding and electrical skillsGeneral knowledge of working with smalls pumps and motorsAbility to read and understand manuals to assist in repairsAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hoursAdditional InformationBenefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
