Continues to build on experience and gain more in depth knowledge working on larger and more complex assignments. May start to expand knowledge into other disciplines and/or functional areas. The Team Black & Veatch Process Engineers develop technical solutions critical to winning work and drive design deliverables for infrastructure projects. The team supports water, industrial, agriculture, LNG, hydrogen, fertilizer, and carbon capture businesses. Key Responsibilities Continues to learn and remains current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and B&V policies and procedures applying them to assigned tasks. Develops and can independently apply knowledge, complies with B&V quality program, and supports continuous improvement and change management efforts. Prepares increasingly complex engineering deliverables, performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and materials selection, manages data for engineering work, and prepares complex calculations following standard methods and principles. Coordinates with project leadership and internal/external team members on less complex projects and interacts with other disciplines on design details. Engages with external clients to understand their interests and drivers, and provides support to business development or pursuit activities. Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes. Provides mentorship and performance management support as skills develop. Preferred Qualifications None specified. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the home country or the country of practice. Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
