The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and support within our clinical environment. This position involves working closely with patients, particularly children and seniors, ensuring their needs are met while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to patients in a clinical setting, focusing on children and senior care.
• Assist with the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information.
• Support healthcare providers in delivering infectious disease care.
• Perform basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the clinic systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a nursing home setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.
• Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processes is a plus.
• Strong background in patient service, particularly in senior care environments.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Previous experience in clinical settings, especially related to infectious disease care, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
