Our organization is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and skilled physician to take on the role of Medical Director at our outpatient UHMS Certified Wound Care Center located in Wyomissing, PA. This is a unique chance to become part of a well-established practice and lead its future development! In this position, the Medical Director will collaborate closely with our Practice Administrator, along with two other wound care specialists (one Physician and one Advanced Practice Provider), and a team of three experienced Wound Care Certified Nurses, as well as the Hyperbaric Safety Director. Additionally, you will have the chance to mentor Residents and Medical Students during their clinical rotations at our facility.
Since our opening in July 2007, we have seen a steady increase in patient volume. Common cases we manage include wounds related to cancer, diabetes, osteomyelitis, and pressure ulcers. Our facility is equipped with two fully operational Sechrist Monoplace chambers, and we have a dedicated Hyperbaric Safety Director on staff.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine and/or as a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) is required within 6 to 10 months of joining our team.

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Candidates must hold a valid medical license or be eligible to practice in Pennsylvania.

Overview
