As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control, and adherence to site-specific procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
