Details Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM On-call as needed with no weekend requirement Patient ratio of 1:1-2 Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required (AWHONN Advanced preferred) Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required Epic charting system experience required Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Additional Information Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for Labor and Delivery patients May supervise LVNs, nursing assistants, and clinical support associates Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only one holiday RTO request permitted per contract Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing American Traveler Job ID P-748392.
