Controller

A well-established, multi-site manufacturer is hiring a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting function. You'll own the consolidated close, the annual external audit, and product costing, and lead a small, capable team. This is a newly created seat in a stable company that values long tenure and gives its finance leaders real ownership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time in a manufacturing environment (industry or auditing manufacturing clients)

• Hands-on standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis

• Public accounting background or experience leading external audits from the company side

• Ownership of month-end close and US GAAP financial statements

• CPA and multi-entity consolidation experience are a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Run the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multiple entities and produce US GAAP financials

• Lead product costing, inventory accounting, and variance reviews alongside plant operations

• Manage the annual external audit and year-round audit readiness

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accountants and an analyst

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and an upcoming ERP upgrade
