Job Description:Organize and conduct physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. Direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. Direct activities to promote and maintain health.Member and partner of the patient care delivery team. Set objective and measurable short and long term treatment goals.Use evidence-based treatment methods, continuously assessing patient’s response and modifying/progressing treatments accordingly.Provide objective, precise, and timely documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and information regarding units of service.Direct and supervise supportive personnel in delegated tasks. Assess competence of supportive personnel to perform assigned tasks.Strive to achieve the patient’s optimal outcomePosition ResponsibilitiesEvaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals and methods, implement the physical therapy treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
