Senior Product Manager - Platform & Data Strategy

Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Platform & Data Strategy based in the United States. This is a high-impact product leadership role at the intersection of platform architecture, data strategy, and enterprise-scale SaaS transformation. You will shape how core platform capabilities evolve into scalable, reusable services that power the entire ecosystem. The role sits at the heart of a major shift toward microservices, modern APIs, and a more modular product architecture. You will also define how data is structured, governed, and leveraged as a strategic and potentially monetizable asset. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and analytics teams, you will drive alignment across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to influence both technical foundations and long-term product strategy in a fast-evolving environment. \n Accountabilities: Define and own the long-term vision and roadmap for platform services, including decisions on what should be built as shared capabilities versus product-specific components, while ensuring scalability and consistency across the ecosystem. Establish and govern API standards, including versioning strategies, backward compatibility rules, and breaking change management to ensure a stable and developer-friendly platform. Lead the evolution of platform architecture toward microservices in partnership with engineering and architecture teams, driving discovery, prioritization, and adoption of new shared services. Shape the enterprise data strategy in collaboration with analytics and engineering, including lakehouse evolution, data governance, and identification of high-value, monetizable datasets. Define requirements for data access, lineage, compliance, and residency, ensuring alignment with regulatory and partner expectations in complex environments. Act as the product voice in platform performance, scalability, and reliability initiatives, ensuring technical investments reflect business priorities and customer impact. Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, analytics, commercial, and partnerships teams to translate platform and data capabilities into scalable product and business opportunities. Requirements: 5–8+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform, infrastructure, API, or data-focused product environments with exposure to complex technical systems. Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and architecture stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working with data strategy, including data pipelines, warehousing, analytics platforms, or data product development. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct authority in highly matrixed environments. Experience operating in ambiguous, evolving environments where structure, processes, and frameworks must be created or significantly improved. Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and exposure to data governance, compliance, or data sharing models is strongly preferred. Background in fintech, B2B SaaS, or enterprise platform environments, with an understanding of scalable, multi-tenant systems considered a strong asset.
