Cullerton Group is hiring an Application Engineer – CNC Tool Grinding for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of high-precision CNC tool and cutter grinding machines.

Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 base + benefits

Travel: 40–60%

Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

This is a hands-on, customer-facing applications role supporting customers throughout North America.

What you’ll do:

• Run customer demonstrations and test grinding

• Develop and optimize CNC grinding processes

• Select grinding wheels and develop dressing strategies

• Improve cycle times and surface finishes

• Install CNC grinding machines at customer locations

• Train customers on machine operation and programming

• Troubleshoot application issues and support field service

• Provide technical feedback to engineering and R&D

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on CNC grinding experience

• Tool and cutter grinding experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of grinding wheels, dressing, coolants, and workholding

• CNC programming experience, including ISO/G-code

• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Ability to travel 40–60%

• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on trade experience preferred
