Job Summary/Company : 

Remote – Must Reside in Texas

Sparks Group has partnered with a growing organization to identify a Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team. This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must be based in Texas. The position will support recruiting efforts across Texas and the West Coast, making a Texas-based recruiter well positioned to work across multiple time zones.

This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level recruiter with 5–7 years of experience who is comfortable managing a high volume of requisitions, partnering with multiple hiring managers, and recruiting for positions within the construction and skilled trades industries . Agency recruiting experience is highly valued due to the fast-paced nature of the environment.

• Manage the full life cycle recruiting process , from sourcing and initial outreach through offer and onboarding.
• Recruit for a high volume of external construction and skilled trades positions, with the potential to support corporate roles as well.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insight.
• Proactively source qualified candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels , with an emphasis on direct candidate outreach rather than relying solely on job postings.
• Identify and engage passive candidates who are currently employed and may not be actively searching.
• Manage multiple requisitions and hiring manager relationships simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and responsiveness.
• Review candidate qualifications and effectively communicate candidate profiles and recommendations to hiring managers.
• Utilize an applicant tracking system to maintain accurate candidate and requisition information. Experience with modern ATS platforms such as Workable, Greenhouse, or similar systems is preferred.
• Identify recruiting challenges and proactively propose solutions to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with candidates, hiring managers, and internal team members.
• Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to support recruiting priorities and contribute to an efficient, team-oriented recruiting environment.

• 5–7 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated full life cycle recruiting experience.
• Previous experience recruiting within the construction, skilled trades, field services, or related industries .
• Agency recruiting experience strongly preferred, particularly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and work effectively with a variety of hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing skills using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting tools , including experience engaging passive candidates.
• Experience working with a modern ATS; Workable experience is a plus, but experience with other systems such as Greenhouse is acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly to candidates and hiring managers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and take initiative without requiring constant direction.
• Must be comfortable identifying obstacles, developing potential solutions, and presenting recommendations to hiring managers.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• Must be located in Texas due to the team's geographic coverage and time zone needs.
