Ocean Import Coordinator

A growing international freight forwarding and logistics company is looking for an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join its Houston-area team. This is a hands‑on role managing ocean import shipments from pre-alert through final delivery, working closely with customers, overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, truckers and internal teams. Key responsibilities: Coordinate end-to-end ocean import shipments Manage arrival notices, vessel schedules and delivery arrangements Prepare and review import documentation Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers and truckers Track shipments and proactively manage delays/issues Monitor customs clearance and cargo availability Arrange final delivery and ensure documentation is completed accurately Maintain accurate shipment records and support billing Requirements: 2+ years' ocean import/freight forwarding experience Strong knowledge of ocean import processes and documentation Experience working with ocean carriers/NVOCCs Familiarity with customs clearance procedures Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments #J-18808-Ljbffr
