Position Summary Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services within a continuum of high to low intensity services designed to improve or maintain each mental health consumer's abilities to function in the community. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, and following up with consumers' progress toward recovery and maintaining all clinical documentation of consumer interaction. Compensation & Benefits Mental Health Therapist II (Master's Level) – $31.25/hour – $65,000/year LPC/LMFT/LCSW – $34.78/hour – $72,342.40/year LAC Differential – $1.00/hour Language Differential – $1–2.50/hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL For a complete overview of our robust Benefits: Robust Benefits Package – benefits start at 30 hours per week and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a retirement match Job Duties & Functions Help consumers in meeting basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety, and general medical and dental care, assist with applications for income, medical, housing, or other benefits. Identify consumers requiring protective payee-ship and arrange assistance. Ensure consumers access services and community resources, arrange transportation or provide personal vehicle transport when necessary. Provide comprehensive psychosocial services across a continuum of high and low intensity services designed to improve or maintain consumers’ abilities to function in normal social roles. These services include: Help consumers evaluate strengths and symptoms, facilitate self‑sized goal setting, and plan appropriate services. Guide and instruct consumers in daily living skills such as medication use, diet, exercise, personal hygiene, shopping, cooking, budgeting, housekeeping, and transportation. Help consumers develop social skills and leisure activities for participation and personal worth, including age and culturally appropriate daytime and evening activities. Assist in finding employment opportunities, vocational rehabilitation, or supported work environments. Support consumers seeking rehabilitative or supportive housing arrangements. Offer support, consultation, and education to families, friends, landlords, employers, community agencies, and others to maximize benefits and minimize problems. Identify and collaborate with natural support systems such as neighborhood networks, churches, and community organizations. Make full utilization of consumers’ support systems to encourage treatment program engagement. Reach out to program‑eligible consumers, informing them of available services at WellPower and in the community. Maintain a trauma‑informed environment of wellbeing. Requirements & Qualifications Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field; preferred current license as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Colorado. Minimum three years of experience in clinical social work, working with moderate to severe and persistently mentally ill populations. Bachelor (MHTI) or Master (MHTII) Degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree. One year of experience in mental health or human services preferred. Valid Colorado Driver's license with a recent clean record; ability to transport clients in own vehicle and obtain business use coverage. Supervisory Responsibilities Assist with program supervision of students or volunteers as appropriate.
