In this role, you will lead sales growth across an assigned region by developing strategic customer partnerships, expanding distributor networks, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting a best-in-class product portfolio. The assigned territory includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and support company growth objectivesManage, coach, and support sales representatives, distributors, and independent agents to improve sales performance and customer coverageBuild and maintain strong relationships with distributors, utilities, contractors, municipalities, industrial customers, and end usersMaintain and grow existing key customer and distributor relationships while identifying opportunities to increase sales and market penetrationIdentify new business opportunities, target accounts, and market segments within the utility, telecommunications, construction, forestry, municipal, and industrial marketsPromote DICKE Safetys product lines by conducting product presentations, training sessions, demonstrations, and customer meetingsWork closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and management, to ensure customer needs are understood and supportedMonitor market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and industry developments to help guide sales strategy and product positioningPrepare sales forecasts, territory plans, pipeline updates, call reports, and other performance metrics as requiredRepresent the company at trade shows, industry events, distributor meetings, and customer visits to strengthen brand awareness and generate new opportunitiesSupport pricing discussions, quotations, contract opportunities, and negotiations while maintaining profitability and long-term customer valueTravel regularly throughout the assigned region to meet with customers, distributors, sales representatives, and industry partners Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience, or 3+ years of sales management experienceProven ability to develop territory plans, manage sales pipelines, and meet or exceed revenue and margin targetsExperience in manufacturing sales; preferably within the safety products, utility equipment, traffic safety, industrial tools, construction, or other related industriesStrong business development skills with the ability to identify, pursue, and close new customer and market opportunitiesStrong leadership, coaching, team development, and cross-functional collaboration skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining regular communication with internal teams and leadershipAbility and willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30%-50%)Valid drivers license and/or access to reliable transportation requiredProficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP softwareBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered Salary Range $95,000 - $120,000 The salary range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the Regional Sales Manager position. Offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process, also taking into consideration available market data for the employees geographical location and internal salary equity.
