MRI Technologist

Deliver advanced patient care as an MRI Technologist in a state-of-the-art, high-volume imaging department within a major teaching and trauma hospital. This contract opportunity involves working closely with a diverse team to provide essential MRI services to both adult and pediatric patients, including those from emergency, critical care, and outpatient settings.

Schedule:

• 10-hour night shifts
• Monday to Thursday, 7:00 pm 5:30 am
• No weekend rotation; shift and days as set per contract
• Call shared equitably across staff, including travelers; frequency depends on team size
• Holiday coverage required unless approved in advance

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification
• Additional ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills with demonstrated proficiency in high-acuity environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• State licensure is not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans for a caseload of approximately 40-45 patients per day utilizing Siemens 1.5T magnets
• Care for both adult and pediatric patients referred from various hospital departments
• Effectively interact with a multidisciplinary teamincluding radiologists, lead techs, and nursing staffto ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Document and manage patient information in the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in departmental call rotation and assist with holiday coverage as needed
