The Licensed Therapist will provide comprehensive mental health services within a residential treatment center, focusing primarily on adult clients. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the therapist will conduct assessments, deliver individual and group therapy, and manage crises while maintaining thorough documentation using the Kipu system. This role emphasizes a collaborative approach to treatment planning and strict confidentiality in a supportive clinical environment. No travel is required.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments to evaluate mental health status
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions
• Manage crisis situations effectively and promptly
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in care
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress using Kipu

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in therapy
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Training or experience in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Skills in Crisis Intervention, Active Listening, and effective Communication

Schedule: 5 days a week/ 8hr shifts on site
