The Solution Architect role helps align key customer decision-makers with the solutions and workflows that Quorum software supports.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales Support:Participate in client meetings, providing the technical expertise as neededParticipate in Account Plan and Strategic Opportunity Plan preparation and reviewsIdentify opportunities in new prospects and current customersClearly define the value proposition for the clientWork with the account managers to map out the best approach to increase our footprint at a clientHelp manage client interactions and stay connected with the technical leaders in our clients and prospectsCreate product solution presentations that reinforce the value proposition within the prospective customerDevelop responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) as required by the RFP leadParticipate in trade-shows, user conferences, training, and sales seminars as requiredUnderstand and Architect client workflowsUnderstanding client usage and workflow characteristic for specified accountsWork with clients to become a “trusted advisor” on their internal processes and best practices around planning, execution, and reservesProvide Software Demonstrations:Deliver consistent high-quality software demonstrations to clients as needed by account managersBe proficient in our solutions and identify key benefits for target audiencePrepare client tailored demonstrations in advance, including meeting or talking with the client prior to any presentationActively Participate in the Solution Architect company-wide processes and knowledge learningBest Practice design which includes:Work on developing corporate standards for optimal workflows based on our software suite.Documentation of both internal and client standards and best practice workflows.Perform the early discovery work to design the “optimal” positioning of the Quorum products within a potential client or expanding into an existing clientWorking with Product Management to ensure clients expectations and plans are aligned with the development timelineMaintain industry, market, and product knowledge, as well as, stay abreast of competitor’s products, technology and offerings. Further, maintain knowledge of appropriate technology evolutionPro-actively share within the Solution Architect group the key demonstrations and knowledge learned with customersAnd other duties as assigned.RequirementsPost-secondary education in a Petroleum Engineer or related discipline with 7-10 years of oil & gas industry experience.Experience with integrated production modelling (IPM) workflow and toolsFamiliarity with software such as Petroleum Experts IPM suite, PipeSim, Olga, Hysys and CoFlowStrong technical aptitude and understanding of technology and how software is developed and worksExcellent remote and in-person communication and presentation skillsGeneral knowledge of on premise and hosted/cloud, understanding of databases and APIsProficient using Generative AI modelsAdditional DetailsBackground Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in the United States or Canada (wherever the successful candidate is currently located) is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
