Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Physical Therapist Assistant position working 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling as long as hours are consistent and coordinated with the Director of Rehabilitation. The PTA provides skilled, evidence-based rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, manual techniques, modalities, and use of assistive devices. Participation in care conferences, rehab meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration is required. No call or weekend requirements.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required, with prior LTC or rehab experience required. Active Missouri PTA license required at submission. Must be submitted at the posted rate of $58. Strong documentation skills, knowledge of regulatory standards, and adherence to APTA and state practice acts required.
