The BCBA trains and provides clinical supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians and other direct support staff to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and treatment implementation.Essential FunctionsPerforms functional assessments for assigned clientsDesigns, implements, and evaluates behavioral support and intervention plansSupports caregivers of clients with strategies for behavior support to maximize individual and familial functioningTeaches and models behavior support techniques to caregivers and direct care staffProvides clinical supervision, training, and competency assessments to Registered Behavior Technicians and assigned clinical staffFollows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client careCollaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatmentAdheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulationsMeets direct care expectationsParticipates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirementsRequirementsEducationMaster's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fieldExperienceNoneLicenses/CertificatesBCBA certificationCPR certification (Post-hire)Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire)Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's licensePreferred QualificationsNone
