Procurement Specialist Opportunity

Keep the parts moving for a global manufacturer during a major ERP upgrade. As a Procurement Specialist, you will own the daily flow of purchase orders, work directly with suppliers around the world, and play a real part in a company wide system transition. This is a great fit for someone with purchasing experience who wants steady, meaningful contract work with a clear runway.

This is a global manufacturer of precision servo drive systems, including gearboxes, motors, and actuators used in robotics, aerospace, medical technology, and more. The role is fully onsite at their United States headquarters in Bartlett, Illinois. Expect a professional office environment inside a busy manufacturing operation.

Steady, longer term contract work with a defined runway and real potential to extend. Benefits are available while on assignment, and the weekday schedule keeps your evenings and weekends free. You will build valuable ERP and supplier management experience during a major system transition, and interviews move quickly, so you will not be stuck waiting.

Job Type: Long term project (8+ months) with potential to extend

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities

• Review, place, and process purchase orders in the company's ERP system
• Expedite orders and respond quickly to urgent requests
• Obtain pricing and quotes from domestic and international suppliers
• Communicate with suppliers on order status, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Support data cleanup and account setup during the company's ERP transition

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

• Some flexibility on start time. Overtime is available and paid.

Compensation: $26-30/hr, based on experience

Procurement Specialist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience
• Hands on experience placing and processing purchase orders
• Data entry experience in an ERP or similar system (SAP experience is a plus, not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and communication skills with sharp attention to detail
