Burn Table Operator 2nd Shift

Job Description We are seeking a motivated Burn Table Operaror. The Burn Table Operator will set up and operate a CNC oxy/plasma machine, use overhead crane to load/unload steel plates, verify finished product meets specifications, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols, and notes. Select and set correct machine parameters for optimal cutting operations. Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications. Select appropriate material type, stock size, and dimensions. Transfer and apply accurate data to materials. Operate CNC plasma, Kinetic, and oxy-fuel cutting machines. Read and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to ±0.005 tolerance. Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts to move, load, and position materials as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Keep accurate records of daily operations and material usage. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Qualifications Experienced operating CNC plasma, Kinetic and oxy machines. Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols and notes. Read tape measure, caliper and micrometer to within +/- .005. Experienced with overhead crane. Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
