Pediatric Speech Pathology - Paterson, NJ

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Valid state licensure and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Proven experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school environments
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and managing caseloads
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote intervention strategies
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Professional, compassionate communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop individualized treatment goals and deliver evidence-based therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy when needed
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date progress notes, report cards, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support teams, and parents or guardians
• Provide resources and strategies to help staff and families support each student's communication growth
• Stay current with best practices in the field and adhere to district policies and procedures
