CT Technologist I-Part Time

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a CT Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate, under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Tech will provide CT services to patients for diagnosis, closely follow physician's instructions, appropriately position patients, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the images requested.

• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: Part Time, 16 hours/week
• Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital
• Location: O'Fallon, IL

Education Qualifications:

• Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.

Experience Qualifications:

• 1 year of radiology experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

• WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
• IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
• Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
• Computed Tomography (CT) credential from ARRT is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
