About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties across a high-volume, 22-OR adult operating room environment with 1:1 patient ratios
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, GYN, GYN Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, Burn, Urology, Podiatry, and Colo-Rectal procedures
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures as part of a large, active robotics program
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, averaging approximately two 8-hour on-call shifts per month
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs are provided by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Robotic surgery experience strongly preferred; facility operates a very large robotics program
• Experience in a high-acuity, multi-specialty adult OR setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
