Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Greer, SC 29651
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-3:00/5:00 AM
Shift: 2nd Shift / Night

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Greer, SC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling liquid-filled chemical totes and drums and be comfortable working in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

This position plays an important role in ensuring shipments are accurate and properly prepared before leaving the facility.

Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
Handle and move liquid-filled chemical totes and drums.
Load trailers from a loading dock.
Verify materials, quantities, labels, and shipping paperwork.
Ensure the correct products are loaded before shipments leave the facility.
Follow all safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience handling liquid-filled chemical totes is required.
Experience handling hazmat totes and drums.
Previous sit-down forklift experience.
Experience loading trailers from a loading dock.
Ability to accurately verify materials, quantities, labels, and paperwork.
Strong attention to detail.
Dependable and safety-focused.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be flexible with the end time based on workload.

Important Requirement

Applicants must have relevant chemical tote-handling experience to be considered for this position.

Schedule

Monday-Friday
6:00 PM until approximately 3:00-5:00 AM

The end time may vary depending on workload, so candidates must be flexible.

Pay

$20.00 per hour
