This position is responsible for the generation of large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects and the execution of highly active drilling programs. Qualified candidates must excel on all applicable geoscience technologies and be able to handle a high volume of data in a team environment with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to take prospects from concept through completion in a fast-paced drilling program. Unconventional resources experience, familiarity with computer-based geological applications, and excellent presentation skills are required. Responsibilities Generate large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects. Execute highly active drilling programs in fast-paced environments. Collaborate with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to advance prospects from concept through completion. Apply geoscience technologies and manage a high volume of data. Leverage unconventional resources experience and computer-based geological applications to support decision making and presentations. Qualifications MS degree in Geology. Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas prospecting experience in a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles. Proven ability to integrate geology and engineering data to determine horizontal development locations and reservoir evaluation. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
