CNC Setup & Production Machinist — Johnstown & New Albany, OH 43031

As a CNC professional on our team in the Johnstown and New Albany area, you’ll transform raw stock into exacting components that power our customers’ success. You’ll own your machines from setup through final inspection, collaborating with teammates to keep quality high and throughput strong.

A day in the life

• Prepare and run CNC equipment to manufacture parts to specification, from initial setup through completion.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to plan each operation.
• Observe cycle performance, adjust offsets/parameters, and fine-tune processes to hold tolerances.
• Carry out routine machine care to maintain peak performance and uptime.
• Partner with peers and leadership to refine workflows and boost efficiency.
• Verify dimensions and finishes using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Record production and quality data accurately and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized workspace.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade schooling or certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in a machining environment.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of CNC operation and programming concepts.
• Comfort using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong troubleshooting instincts.
• Self-directed yet collaborative; able to contribute effectively to a team.
• Clear communication skills and a consistent safety mindset.
