At Providence you will find patient centered care for every member of your family.We are currently in search of a Certified Phlebotomist who likes to connect with people and has a compassionate outlook for our Beavercreek location.Beavercreek Commons Family Practice, like all Providence Medical Group primary care practices, is recognized as Patient-Centered Medical Home and focus on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.What You Will DoEnsure venipuncture and capillary punctures align with PSC policy with high accuracyGather specimens across all age groups, proficient in urine drug screen collectionComplete requisitions accurately, adhering to policyProperly handle patient identification and specimen processingLabel and prepare specimens correctly for testingVerify billing information for accuracySkilled in collecting PCR nasopharyngeal swabs and performing POCT testingRetrieve, process, and store specimens as per protocolMaintain appropriate specimen storage temperatures and prepare batches for transportManage order and specimen flowAssist in troubleshooting patient draw, order, and specimen issuesOperate and maintain departmental equipment, ensuring functionalityCommunicate effectively and courteously, prioritizing customer serviceConduct regular inventory checks and replenish supplies as neededAdhere to regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policiesPerform other job duties as requestedQualifications:Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.Must have recent phlebotomy training or experience, with at least 100 venipunctures completed.
