To support the active project demands and skills gaps, our staffing experts can help you find the best job for you.Position: Ansible Automation EngineerLocation: Charlotte, NC, or Chandler, AZ _ HybridDuration: 12+ Months ContractRequirements:5+ years of experience with expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting (YAML, XML, Python, Perl, Shell).5+ years of experience with the Ansible Automation Platform.5+ years of demonstrable Python or similar scripting skills.Description:Part of a dynamic team building and enhancing an Ansible Automation Platform for the EnterpriseResponsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activitiesAssists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total systemServes as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributorDevelop controls for automation platforms with focus on shared content (catalog) across Enterprise toolsImplement SDLC chain for managing automation contentParticipates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include technical support, systems programming and data center capabilitiesWill not have direct reports but will influence and/or direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations; provides input on staffing, budget and personnelTypically, 5 years or more top-tier systems engineering experienceConsiders applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for symbiotic alignment and opportunities to augment a complete service offeringIncorporates multiple AI channels into standard practice to foster productivity, consistency, and quality woven throughout independent deliverables and across our technology community of practiceExpert level Unix/Linux admin and scripting (exp. 5+ years) – yaml, xml, python, Perl, shellAnsible Automation Platform (5+ years)Demonstrable python or similar scripting skills (5+ years)Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to present to audiences including senior managementStrong organizational skills, ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements for product evidence and license complianceStrong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skillsProficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, business environmentProven ability to build relationships and influence individuals in all regions of the organizationAbility to understand complex application infrastructure and model for compliance reportingAbility to be a strong team player with commitment to overall organization goalsExperience with GitHub Copilot is a plusTrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) - will be helpful with current engineering support needs and planning/preparations for transition to target state tool (Ansible)
