Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience in or passion for working with school-age children
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech and language needs through standardized measures and observation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise with educational teams and families
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to implement best strategies in classroom settings
- Support and advocate for students’ communication goals through dynamic and creative interventions
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
