Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Opportunity: CRNA - Anesthesia CRNA Job Details: Cover both Pasadena and St. Pete hospital locations, with flexibility required at all times Both facilities are small community hospitals offering outpatient surgeries, endoscopy, and short overnight stays depending on patient conditions Pasadena handles mostly ASA 1-3 cases with most patients discharged day of surgery Pasadena support staff consists of 5 full-time CRNAs and one full-time anesthesia tech during hours of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pasadena CRNA shifts run 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Pasadena does not staff CRNAs on Fridays St. Pete shifts consist of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM St. Pete also has an in-house 24-hour shift on weekends (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM); this is a regularly scheduled shift, not a call shift Daily patient volume averages 10 to 20 cases Monday through Thursday CRNAs at Pasadena are supervised by 1 MD per day with up to a 1:5 ratio Needs are confirmed the day prior by surgical and anesthesia staff based on number of sites of service Must be NBCRNA Board Certified with a minimum of 2 years of experience Must be proficient in spinal and OB cases, as well as general bread and butter cases Facility utilizes Meditech, Medaxion, PODS, and QGenda scheduling application Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Facility: This healthcare organization operates two small community hospital locations providing a range of surgical and procedural services including outpatient surgeries, endoscopy procedures, and short-term inpatient stays.
