Senior Systems Engineer - ELINT

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with at least 6 years of relevant engineering experience, a masters degree with at least 4 years of related engineering experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• We need a strong understanding of RF and microwave fundamentals, including antennas, receivers, spectral characteristics, and front-end design.
• We expect demonstrated experience with signal analysis methods and tools such as pulse analysis, modulation assessment, and emitter characterization.
• We require knowledge of radar fundamentals, including pulse radar, CW/FMCW, LPI concepts, scan patterns, and threat-system behavior.
• We need proficiency in digital signal processing, with strong MATLAB skills for algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
• We expect solid command of DSP principles such as filtering, spectral analysis, FFTs, modulation, sampling theory, and noise reduction.
• We require the ability to support algorithm implementation in C, C++, or Python.
• We require an active Secret clearance or recent TS/SCI clearance with the ability to maintain it.
• We require the ability to travel up to 10%.
• Preferred qualifications include active TS/SCI clearance, experience with RF or electronic warfare receiver integration and troubleshooting, and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and DOORS.
• Preferred experience includes using MATLAB and Python for algorithm development, automation, data analysis, and visualization.
• Preferred background includes working with large IQ/sample datasets, advanced DSP algorithm development, software integration, and system-level testing.

• We partner closely with customers to design and implement new system capabilities.
• We write requirements, support development, and perform integration testing of new or updated products in laboratory, airborne, and ground-based environments.
• We verify and validate new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy behavior remains intact.
• We collaborate with systems engineering, agile development, flight line test, product development, and project engineering teams to understand new baseline capabilities.
• We work with our internal research and development teams to advance proprietary ELINT technologies and capabilities.
• We document test status and anomalies, and we verify corrective actions for hardware and software issues.
• We coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction with system performance.
• We work with management to build and follow schedules and budgets for assigned efforts.
• We provide regular progress updates to management and customers.
• We operate effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• We communicate across functions to support program execution from development through integration and delivery.
• We analyze customer needs, including system and subsystem trade studies, and develop detailed hardware and software specifications.
• We create test plans and procedures for equipment such as anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• We contribute across the full program and engineering lifecycle, including IRAD, technical baseline development, and requirements management.
• We apply strong problem-solving skills with careful documentation, verification, and validation practices.
• We prepare working contract proposals and take on other duties as assigned.
