Production Control (Shipping And Receiving) Team LeaderA Japanese manufacturing company is seeking a Production Team Lead (2nd shift). Essential duties include:Ability to lead production control team members to ensure their success in meeting daily goals with high priority to safety and quality.Ability to manage electronic data interchange process and work on Toyota computer system.Ability to accurately perform paperwork as related to the shipping and receiving of parts.Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift/tugger and pass test to acquire operator's license.Ability to complete daily tasks without close supervision.Ability to work with other departments to meet production goals.Ability to recommend kaizen activities based on daily activity.Ability to regularly multitask in order to maintain smooth operation flow.Must have a clean work record.Good attendance is required in order to be considered.Working Hours: 2:30pm-11:00pmWorking Location: Lebanon, KYSalary: $21.25 - $25/hr401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceQualifications:Requires a high school diploma or GED.Minimum 2-3 years experience in a supervisory position.Minimum 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.Minimum 2-3 years experience operating forklifts.Ability to lift, push, pull 30 pounds on a routine basis.Ability to work all shifts & flexible work hours.Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.Must be able to safely & proficiently operate a forklift and maintain certification.
