About the Position

Ability to float when necessary. Acceptance of minimal time off requests preferred. Epic charting experience is required. Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The role includes managing patients with a variety of conditions in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Blood product administration and central line care are also key responsibilities. Candidates should have strong skills in IV initiation and management, as well as experience with emergency medications. You will provide care for patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Expect a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 5 patients, with mixed acuity levels. Every other weekend shifts are required. This position may involve floating to other departments as needed based on patient census. Required skills include procedural sedation administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. A strong understanding of isolation precautions is essential. The facility encourages collaboration among interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory, pharmacy, and social services. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for success in this role.
