RN - Psych Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Psychiatry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license (State of Alabama or compact license) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR Must-Have: Willingness to float to other units and hospitals Availability for holidays as required Availability for every other weekend Description:We are seeking a Psychiatric RN to provide care in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting.The role includes working with adult and geriatric patients experiencing symptoms requiring 24-hour acute inpatient psychiatric treatment and care.The nursing team collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient recovery and achieve optimal outcomes.Strong focus is placed on improving physical and emotional health.Utilization of sensory reduction tools for anger management, coping skills, and de-escalation is encouraged.Our dedicated team is committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
