Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR and utilize unit-specific equipment such as pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient assessments, procedures, and discharge planning.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to professional dress code, maintaining clean and professional scrubs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Hawaii RN license prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Possess 2-10 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS; ACLS preferred. Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or Procedural Sedation are a plus.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in using Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and wound management equipment.
  
  
• 
  Able to float across Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular units as required.
